Day 2 Depleted and Wimpy!!
YOGA
You know you have an issue when you wake up and you roll out of bed feeling stiff and trying to figure out why there was a lady with 6 dogs in your dream! Who knows, why I dream wacky stuff. I got moving anyways and walked my own REAL dog and then went to the 9:15am Bikram class. Today's class was the kind where you drip, drip, drip with sweat. Maybe it wasn't the class, but me. Hmmmm---am I paying for all of those coconut cookies I ate the other day? If you want to try Bikram yoga, don't let the heat or sweat intimidate you...if I can do it, anyone can. You just have to focus and not let the doubt get to you.
Cookies!!!!
Some of my favorite cookies in Bellingham, WA are from Avenue Bread, which is a local artisan bread bakery and cafe. Here are two of my loves: Double Chocolate Bar and Brown Sugar Walnut. Geepers creepers, they are delicious. Not overly sweet but with a crisp outside and a softer center. The double chocolate's chips are large and soft. Go to Avenue Bread and tell them you read about their cookies on a blog....they would like that I am sure.
Oh, I also want to mention that Haggen's had butter on sale. I could OWN a lot of butter for an awesome price. Imagine that...a butter owner! I could bake around 288 cookies with just 2 pounds of butter. Good thing I ignored the sale. I just stuck my nose up in the air and kept on walking...my pride intact.

It's nice to know that there is someone else out there that would even take the time to write the words "butter owner" I had never thought about it, but it makes some sort of maniacal sense to those of us who have run out of butter at 11:30 pm the night before we promised cookies for the fill in the blank event. You know... cub scout bake sale, funeral, birthday celebration at work, pot luck, sick friend.
